Access statement

There is an hourly bus service to Derby from Ashbourne. The local bus stop is 200 metres away from across the main A52 road. The ground is level all the way.

There are also bus services to Leek and Uttoxeter see local timetable.   There are also local taxi firms.

On arrival at Stone Cottage, approaching Stone Cottage from the A52 the road is flat and level with no pavement.

There is parking for one car per room on the drive.  The drive is on flat and level tarmaced ground. From the parking area you walk approximately 20 meters along a level footpath of concrete slabs to the house.  There is one step up to the house.

On the ground floor there is a small lounge and dinning room, from there you climb 13 stairs to the first floor landing and two more steps down to the bedrooms.  

The approach to the house from the drive is on flat paving stones there is a slight slope to the door with a threshold step.

Ground Floor
The ground floor is level and well-lit.   The dining room in the conservatory is accessed by a threshold step.  All the tables and chairs are free standing.  There is no public toilet on the ground floor.

Second Floor
There is flight of stairs leading to the bedrooms and two steps down into rooms 1 and 2.
